Great conferences begin with great ideas, and great ideas start with thoughtful reviewers. As a member of the Content Review Committee, you'll evaluate session proposals within your area of expertise and help shape a program filled with practical insights, fresh thinking and real-world impact. 

Working alongside fellow professionals, you'll play an important role in creating a balanced, high-quality educational experience while helping ensure TR27 delivers the conversations that matter most to the Rewards and HR community.

PROCESS

Led by the WorldatWork Events team, the review committee will evaluate submissions from professionals interested in speaking at TR27.

Within our ever-changing profession, this process presents a best practice for ensuring optimal, world-class, peer-reviewed education sessions.

Criteria

✔ The number of reviewers from the same organization will be limited.

✔ Reviewers must be unbiased in reviewing, scoring and commenting on submissions.

✔ All review committee candidates are evaluated by WorldatWork.

✔ Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest.

✔ Reviewers must be active HR, Rewards, compensation or benefits practitioners.

Reviewer Requirements

✔ Submit a completed online reviewer application.

✔ Demonstrate subject matter expertise in one or more key topic areas.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Review and Score Submissions

Reviewers will read and evaluate session submissions online via the Call for Content site. A reviewer should expect to review and evaluate/score an average of 20-30 submissions in a given topic area.

 

Each submission will take approximately 10-20 minutes to review.

Frequently Asked Questions

You will be asked to provide information regarding your professional background, event attendee experience, WorldatWork member information and disclose any potential conflict of interest. 

We estimate it will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and upload the requested information into the application form. 

We are so grateful to our reviewers for both their time spent in preparation and their willingness to share their expertise. As a TR27 reviewer you will receive:

  • A discount for registration to TR27
  • WorldatWork recertification credits. 
  • The opportunity to help evaluate submissions received through the TR27 Call for Content to guide the final program.

Attend one reviewer orientation session in September. 

Read and evaluate 20-30 submissions received for the TR27 Call for Content by the review deadline. The review period will be in September.

Reviewer applications must be completed by the reviewer themselves. 

You can make edits to your application anytime prior to the Call close date. Click "Login" from the top menu, enter your email and password to login to your account. You can access your application from "Submissions" on the top menu.   

Yes! Reviewers can still submit to speak at TR27. During the review period, you'll have the option to recuse yourself from any sessions you submitted or are a part of.
