Dr. Amy Dufrane is the CEO of HRCI, the the premier credentialing and learning community for the human resource profession. With decades of experience in management, employee wellness, and human capital strategy, Dr. Dufrane is known for her innovative approach to building high-performing teams and advancing workplace standards.

Under her leadership, HRCI has earned recognition as a 2024 Top Workplace by The Washington Post, 2023 ISA Business of the Year and won a

2023 Globee Award for Disruption in HR. In 2024, HRCI was honored by Coursera for developing the highest-rated course on the company’s global online learning platform.

Dufrane helps set the standard for HR, serving as the international secretariat for Global HR standards through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Technical Committee (TC) 260.

Her contributions to the field have earned her numerous honors, including the Global Impact Award of Distinction from the Bowman Foundation for Workplace Equity and Mental Wellness and the Globee Award for Women in Business. For the past four years, she has been named one of the top 100 HR Tech Influencers by HR Executive magazine.

Dr. Dufrane regularly speaks at the best known HR conferences throughout the world and has participated in White House initiatives on workplace standards and employee wellness.

Dr. Dufrane, Ed.D., SPHR, CAE, holds a doctorate in education from The George Washington University and a Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) certification from HRCI.
