Jerald Prince is the Managing Director, Head of Total Rewards at Southwest Airlines, where he leads the design and implementation of compensation, benefit, and retirement strategies and administration. He earned an undergraduate degree in Sociology and Music from Duke University, before joining Teach For America, where he taught 7th and 8th grade math. Jerald went on to pursue an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, building a strong foundation in business strategy and leadership.

Prior to joining Southwest, Jerald held several roles in human resources and compensation. He served as an HR Generalist and Compensation Consultant at Bank of America, then as an HR Generalist and the Head of Executive Compensation at Celanese. Jerald also worked as the Director of Benefits Operations at American Airlines. With experience as a leader in generalist, benefits, and compensation roles, Jerald brings a wholistic HR perspective to his current role. Jerald lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Britney, and dog, Ocho.
