Shelie Gustafson is a corporate board director and former Fortune 250 global executive with over 30 years of experience guiding organizations through transformation, portfolio shifts, and leadership transitions. She brings strategic insight to boards on CEO and board succession, M&A, market repositioning and human capital strategy.
She currently serves on the boards of SCIO Automation GmbH and HRCI, with prior advisory and board experience for non-profits and a top educational institution. As the former Chief People Officer at Jacobs Solutions, she led a multi-year transformation of a $16B diversified enterprise with 60,000 employees, and at CH2M, she played a pivotal role in enterprise restructuring prior to its $3.3B acquisition by Jacobs. Her domestic and expat leadership experience spans start-up, private, ESOP, and Fortune 500 companies across diverse industries giving her a broad perspective on governance, risk, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
Shelie holds a master’s in organizational communication and a bachelor’s in business administration, is NACD Board Director Certified, and holds SPHR and GPHR certifications. She enjoys long-distance hiking, cultivating her garden and traveling with her husband, Rick.
