With over 30 years Human Resources executive leadership in financial services and corporate sectors, Deb is a recognized champion of inclusive, sustainable, people-first cultures. In her current role of Director, Human Resources with an Indigenous economic development corporation, she leads strategic initiatives in talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and equity. She also is a lecturer on decolonization and diversity.

Deb’s blends academic rigor with insightful innovation. She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Science in Management (MSM) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her professional designations include Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), and Integral Professional Coach (IPC).

Her leadership has been recognized with honors including HR Professional of the Year and the HRMA Award of Excellence.

At the heart of Deb’s work is her belief in interconnectedness. She is a medicine woman and Reiki healer, born of Celtic ancestry to a Canadian settler family.
