Evana Afreen, Ph.D. is a Senior Manager is in the People Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP. She has over 10 years of human resource consulting experience focused in Compensation and Benefits. She has significant experience developing Total Rewards strategy and the underlying programs and processes to help clients attract, retain and motivate their key talent. She has supported various management and compensation committees with the design and implementation of their executive compensation programs. She has in depth knowledge of broad-based compensation strategy, plan design, implementation and management across various industries and geographies. Evana leads organization wide job family architecture / compensation projects across various industries including Healthcare, Higher-ed. State Government, Life Sciences and others.
Prior to joining EY, Evana completed her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Economics focused on individual decision making and incentivizing targeted behavior.
