Hem Patel is VP Total Rewards at Moderna and has global responsibility for compensation (executive and broad-based), benefits, global mobility, recognition, equity administration, and payroll. As a member of the HR Leadership Team, he is focused on embedding the company values and Mindsets into all people processes and systems, building a culture of perpetual learning, and ensuring employee well-being remains key to the employee value proposition. Hem also leads the team that develops Moderna’s annual corporate scorecard, and is a member of the 401(K) Investment Committee. Prior to joining Moderna, Hem spent 18 years at HR consulting firm WTW. As well as his core role providing Executive Compensation advice to Boards, Compensation Committees and managements teams, he held several managerial roles, including leading the Metro New York Rewards Line of Business, and the life sciences industry team for the Talent & Rewards segment.
