Sara Hillenmeyer is the Senior Director of Data Science at Payscale, with 15 years of experience in artificial intelligence, including 3.5 years specifically in Compensation.  

At Payscale, Sara leads the teams of data analysts, data scientists, and compensation subject matter experts that build Payscale’s data offerings and AI-powered software features. 

Prior to Payscale, Sara worked as an AI scientist and then led teams of AI researchers and engineers at Amazon. 

Sara holds an BS from Brown University and a PhD from Stanford University. Her work about data and machine learning methods is published in top scientific journals and has more than 1500 citations. She holds six patents.
