Buck Brockman is Assistant Treasurer at Southwest Research Institute.  In addition to finance responsibilities, Buck oversees the Employee Benefits Office and the health benefit and retirement plan program offered to more than 3,000 employees of Southwest Research Institute.  Buck has experience in working with health plan insurers and other benefit program providers in the design, administration, and communication of various health benefit and wellness programs.  Additionally, Buck currently serves as President of the San Antonio Business Group on Health (SABGH), a committee of the San Antonio Mayor’s Fitness Council.  SABGH provides opportunities for HR, benefits, and wellness professionals of local employers to discuss best practices, promote worksite wellness initiatives, and recognize local employers for their efforts to improve employee health and wellness.  Buck graduated with a BBA in Accounting from Harding University in 1999 and is a Certified Public Accountant.
