Alana Peer is a Total Rewards and HR transformation leader with experience spanning global compensation, governance, HR technology enablement, and organizational transformation across financial services, insurance, consulting, manufacturing, media, and higher education environments. Her experience includes leading and supporting enterprise-wide initiatives related to compensation governance, job architecture, HR digital experience, employee experience design, organizational effectiveness, and workforce transformation within complex and decentralized organizations.

Throughout her career, Alana has partnered closely with executive leadership teams, HR Centres of Excellence, technology teams, and operational stakeholders to support large-scale transformation initiatives focused on improving governance, employee experience, operational consistency, and organizational alignment. Her work has included global rewards strategy, benefits redesign, HR systems implementation and optimization, job evaluation frameworks, position management, and enterprise-wide workforce governance initiatives, with a particular focus on applying design thinking principles to improve employee experience, usability, and organizational effectiveness within Total Rewards and HR programs.

In addition to her corporate leadership experience, Alana has taught Compensation & Benefits, HR Management, and Labour Relations at the post-secondary level and currently serves on the HR & Compensation Committees at Wilfrid Laurier University. She holds CCP and GRP designations through WorldatWork, as well as CHRL, PCP, and MCIPD credentials.
