Assad Mallick, CCP, GRP, CHRL, BComm is a seasoned Total Rewards and HR executive with more than 15 years of experience leading compensation, benefits, wellness, pension, HR operations, and HR technology initiatives across large Canadian and global organizations. He currently serves as Vice President, Enterprise Global Total Rewards at Sun Life Financial, where he leads enterprise-wide Total Rewards strategy and programs for a global workforce.

Throughout his career, Assad has held progressively senior leadership roles spanning financial services, telecommunications, retail, and health and wellbeing organizations, including prior leadership positions at TELUS Health, LifeWorks, and Cineplex. His expertise includes broad-based compensation, executive compensation, sales compensation, workforce analytics, HR technology, and organizational transformation.

Known for combining strategic perspective with practical implementation experience, Assad is particularly passionate about the use of data, analytics, and emerging technologies to evolve the future of Total Rewards and HR. In addition to his corporate leadership roles, he serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the HRPA (Human Resources Professionals Association) and is an active speaker and thought leader within the Canadian HR and Total Rewards community.
