Competing for Talent When You Can't Compete on Pay
Format
Roundtable
Description

Many organizations are facing a difficult reality: employee expectations continue to grow while compensation budgets remain constrained. Whether driven by funding limitations, economic pressures, or competing business priorities, employers are increasingly being asked to attract and retain talent without relying solely on pay.

In this facilitated roundtable, leaders from Right To Play and Save the Children will share how their organizations approach attraction, engagement, and retention in environments where financial resources are often limited. Participants will explore how culture, purpose, employee experience, flexibility, development opportunities, and other non-monetary rewards can strengthen an organization's overall employee value proposition.

The session is designed to encourage peer learning and discussion. Facilitators will share examples and lessons learned from their own organizations while creating space for participants to exchange ideas, discuss common challenges, and compare approaches from different sectors.

Attendees will leave with practical insights, new perspectives, and ideas they can apply to strengthen their Total Rewards strategy when compensation alone is not enough to attract and retain talent.
