Total Rewards professionals have access to increasingly rich workforce and compensation data, but the real opportunity lies in turning that data into insights that support better rewards decisions. This highly practical, hands-on session will demonstrate how GenAI and analytics can be applied to real-world Total Rewards challenges including compensation analysis, pay equity and workforce data.

Participants will experience an end-to-end process of translating a Total Rewards business question into an analytical problem using GenAI to develop analytical approaches and generate R code, and then running that code on compensation data in a standalone environment. The session will demonstrate how analytical techniques can move beyond descriptive analysis to predictive and prescriptive insights that help Total Rewards professionals identify risks, explore scenarios, and inform business decisions.

A key focus will be data confidentiality and responsible use of GenAI. Rather than uploading sensitive compensation or employee data to a public GenAI platform, participants will learn how GenAI can be used to generate and refine analytical algorithms and code. This approach enables Total Rewards professionals to harness the power of GenAI without compromising the confidentiality of employee data.

Through a live demonstration and practical exercise, participants will see how Total Rewards expertise, GenAI, and analytics can work together from framing the right question and analysing the data to interpreting results and translating them into actionable rewards recommendations.
