Megan Walker

Megan Walker currently serves as Vice President, Executive and Associate Compensation at Nationwide. In this role, she leads compensation strategies and programs that support the attraction, retention, and engagement of talent across the organization, including executive and broad-based associate compensation. Megan partners with senior leaders to align compensation practices with business objectives, ensuring programs are competitive, equitable, and designed to drive organizational performance and culture.

Megan joined Nationwide as an associate in 2006. Since then, she has progressed through a variety of Human Resources roles in recruiting, compensation, and business partner capacities. Throughout her career, she has supported multiple areas of the Property & Casualty business, including direct sales, claims, processing, and servicing. In 2017, Megan began supporting the Office of the Chief Financial Officer as a Human Resources Business Partner, helping connect business strategy and people initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, performance, and culture. She is recognized for her ability to guide organizations through significant change and translate strategic priorities into actionable, value-added outcomes.

Megan holds an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from Ashford University (now the University of Arizona Global Campus). She also maintains both the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications.

Originally from Iowa, Megan relocated to Ohio in 2017 with her husband, Jason, and their two children, Tenley and Kingston.
