Andrea Kaercher is the Director of People and Strategy at Fortified Data, a fully remote managed database services company. With deep roots in education, corporate facilitation with organizations including Procter and Gamble, GE, and Yellowstone National Park, and nearly a decade of hands-on HR and culture work, Andrea brings a practitioner’s perspective that is equal parts strategic and human. She has built Fortified Data’s people infrastructure from the ground up, architecting the systems, programs, and practices that shape how a distributed team of 40 experiences belonging every day. That work includes performance management, multi-state HR compliance, engagement program design, and a sustained focus on culture that has driven the company’s eNPS from 44 to 78 over the past year. Andrea is a sought-after speaker and facilitator across corporate, nonprofit, and technology sectors, having presented at the National YMCA Conference, National Camping Conference, PASS Data Community Summit, Women 4 Technology events, and Technology First, and regularly moderates Fortified Data’s professional webinar series. She currently serves as Board Chair for YMCA Camp Kern and is a member of Leadership Warren County.
