Steven is a Senior Principal and the Office Practice Leader at Mercer, overseeing the Health Consulting practice in North Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. He has 17 years of experience in the design, strategy, pricing, administration and vendor management of health and welfare benefits.
Steven collaborates with HR leaders to develop and implement strategies that advance company culture and business objectives. He frequently provides guidance on integration and consolidation of benefit plans and contribution strategies as a result of mergers and acquisitions. Steven also works closely with corporate committees to facilitate decision-making and present recommendations to management.
At Mercer, Steven partners with complex organizations that require thoughtful and well-designed/executed solutions — ranging from several hundred to hundreds of thousands of employees across various industries. Prior to joining Mercer, he spent six years at a large hospitality group, where he directed the administration of health, welfare, retirement and workers’ compensation benefit plans.
Steven received his BS in psychology from Texas A&M University.
