MBA, Catholic University of Rio, a Leadership degree from Harvard, Executive MBA from COPPEAD Brazilian Federal University, postgraduate degree in HR and Bachelor's, Administration from Catholic University of Rio. 

Antonio worked in multiple organizations in consulting and industry. He is currently the People Director at Energisa. 

He serves as a Board Member, Brazilian HR Association, on WorldatWork's Global Advisory Council and on the Boards of Camp Mangueira, Brazil/United States Institute.  VP, Executive Council for HR Management and Organizational Development of the Rio de Janeiro Trade Association, President of the FUNJOR Institute.  He is guest professor of postgraduate studies at institutions such as FGV and IBMEC.

Antonio won the 2009 Professional of the Year award in Compensation from Rio Salary Information Group. He won the 2018 and 2023 HR Personality of the Year Award from the Brazilian Development Association. In 2019, he was among the Top 4 HR Influencers in Latin America (GOintegro/Linkedin) and, in 2023, he was among the Top 10 HR Changemakers.
