Aaron Pedowitz is a Senior Principal with Mercer’s Career practice out of the Louisville, KY office. Aaron has over 20 years of experience assisting clients with the benchmarking, design, compliance, financing and administration of remuneration programs (both compensation and benefits). Aaron is a member of Mercer’s national Executive Benefits Group.
Aaron consults with clients in multiple industries to address executive and workforce remuneration matters, including recent projects with P&C insurance, health care, medical device, engineering, consulting, manufacturing, financial services, high tech, supply chain, higher education, and utility clients.
Aaron’s expertise on executive remuneration extends to publicly-traded, private (family-owned, ESOP-owned, P/E portfolio, etc.), and tax-exempt organizations.
Aaron is a member of Mercer’s CEO pay ratio task force and has been interviewed by multiple media sources on the topic.
Before joining Mercer, Aaron worked with Ernst & Young LLP in an actuarial audit capacity, and at ING Group (now Voya), specializing in analyzing and valuing general/separate account universal life products. Aaron received a Bachelor's degree from Emory University with a major in mathematics and a minor in comparative religion. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.
