With over two decades of cross-industry Total Rewards experience, Billy Schultz currently serves as the Global Vice President of Total Rewards at Mars, Inc. In this role, Billy leads a team dedicated to designing total rewards programs that reflect the Mars Five Principles, Purpose, and the diversity of its Associates and businesses.

Throughout Billy’s career, he has consulted on numerous total rewards issues, including health and wellness design, performance management, short- and long-term incentive plan design, employment contracts, change-in-control agreements, director pay, pay equity, and pay for performance alignment.

In addition to his role at Mars, Billy is actively engaged in industry discussions and thought leadership initiatives, such as TR2050, a global research and development platform joining together reward leaders and academics to discuss the future of reward. Billy serves on the Advisory Board at Airvet, contributing to innovative telehealth solutions that benefit both employees and their furry companions. 

Prior to joining Mars, Billy was a Senior Consultant with Willis Towers Watson (WTW), advising Boards, Compensation Committees, and management teams across various industries on compensation matters.

Beyond professional endeavors, Billy seeks opportunities to mentor and share insights with others, such as guest lecturing on leadership and human and organizational development at his alma mater, Vanderbilt University, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human and Organizational Development and Cognitive Studies.

Billy lives in McLean, VA, with his wife, Alexandra, sons Calvin and Brody, and dogs Charlie and Sadie.
