Jim Nestor has over 30 years of experience in the human resources field and has spent the last 14 years with Katz, Sapper & Miller, currently as the firm’s Principal and Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role Jim leads all human resource efforts for the firm, including HR strategy, talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, and learning & development. Through his career he has provided HR leadership to a wide variety of companies including GE, WPP Companies (formerly Young & Rubicam Advertising), Rolls-Royce, and Irwin Union Bank, crossing multiple industries and geographies.

EDUCATION

Jim received both a Bachelor of Arts degree in social science and a Master of Human Resources and Labor Relations degree from Michigan State University. He holds the designations of Senior Professional in Human Resources and SHRM Senior Certified Professional.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Jim is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Indiana CPA Society. He serves as an advisory board member of the Boomer Consulting HR Talent Circle. Jim previously served on the Operations Steering Committee for PrimeGlobal, one of the world’s largest international associations of accounting firms as well as the board of the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation.
