Renee leads the global Compensation Team at General Mills. In her role she oversees the design and implementation of compensation principles, practices, and technology for the Company’s Broad-Based and Executive population. Included is responsibility for the design and execution of the Company’s annual and long-term incentive plans, preparation of materials for the Compensation and Talent Committee of the Board of Directors, and Compensation expertise in support of M&A initiatives undertaken by the organization.
Renee began her career with General Mills in 2012. In her time with the Company, Renee has been part of multiple transformations and redesigns of the Company’s pay and performance programs, multiple acquisitions, and several long-term incentive design changes.
Prior to joining General Mills, Renee worked in consulting for McLagan (part of Aon’s reward practice). Renee is certified as an Executive Compensation Professional with World at Work. She earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and holds a degree in Actuarial Science from the University of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota.
