Description

As pay equity laws continue to spread across the globe, and with pay gap disclosures increasing in scope and complexity, should your organization perform a pay equity audit and, if so, should you perform that audit under attorney client privilege?  If you decide to perform an audit, how do the various reporting requirements (and employees’ entitlement to get access to pay/pay gap information) potentially impact your ability to maintain attorney client privilege over your audit?

In this session, our panel of experts will share the various legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to pay equity/pay gap with which global employers must comply.  Our panel also will discuss the various (and often competing) interests at play, including mandatory disclosures, works council, and federal and state agency actions.  From this session, you will gain valuable strategies for navigating the complex issues surrounding pay equity and pay gap disclosures and how to manage each of those often competing obligations.

Our panel will afford ample time to answer your questions regarding these complex issues so that you walk away with an understanding of not only the questions to be asked, but a game plan for how your organization can comply.

Key Takeaways

  • Learn how to navigate the complex legal and regulatory landscape surrounding pay equity and pay gap reporting requirements, including the EU Pay Transparency Directive
  • Explore how key stakeholders within the organization can come together to address the different and potentially competing requirements surrounding achieving pay equity and complying with mandatory disclosures
