Justin Hampton, a former compensation practitioner, is the Founder of CompTool, a salary survey manager and benchmarking tool with Squirrel, a collection of more than 35 million employer-reported pay ranges collected from job postings in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia. Before starting CompTool, Justin spent 15 years as a compensation leader with companies such as Starbucks, Greyhound Lines, Big Fish Games, and Product Madness in the UK. Justin focuses on not overcomplicating comp while creating practical and useful solutions and remains an active compensation consultant. Justin is the host of the Pay Practitioner's Panel, a bi-weekly webinar with fellow compensation experts discussing all things comp, ranging from how to manage equity programs to debating which if compa-ratio or position-in-range is superior. When not thinking about compensation, Justin thinks about traveling to every country in the Americas before 2025.
