Lizzy Kolar is co-founder and CEO of Scope Zero. Lizzy has a master’s degree in Sustainable Design and Construction from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University. Her expertise lies within residential utility consumption and corporate sustainability strategies. She and Scope Zero co-founder Kaitlin Highstreet pioneered the creation of the Carbon Savings Account™ (CSA), a new financial wellness employee benefit that reduces a company’s carbon footprint. Widespread adoption of the CSA throughout the United States could save $150B per year in residential utility bills and remove the equivalent of 125M cars from the road.
