Manika Turnbull is senior vice president and chief Human Resources officer for Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC). HCSC operates the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans in Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. In this role, Manika leads development and execution of HCSC’s people strategy in support of its business plan, including talent management, employee engagement, leadership and employee development, succession planning, HR management systems and the total rewards package.

Manika holds a master’s degree and Ph.D. from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she also serves on the Board of Trustees and received the 2016 Distinguished Alumni Award. Manika is a graduate of James Madison University, where she was team captain of JMU’s NCAA Division I women’s basketball team.
